Eva Stensköld

Eva Stensköld has served as Director of the Swedish National Data Service (SND) since February 2024. SND is Sweden’s national research infrastructure supporting open access to digital research data across all disciplines. With a PhD in archaeology, she has a background in the cultural-heritage sector and has held senior roles in research funding and policy at the Swedish Research Council, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond, and the Ministries of Education, Research, and Culture. She brings extensive experience in European, Nordic, and national research-policy development, particularly in research infrastructures, open science, and research data.
