About Bergen

Bergen is the second largest city in Norway. Located on Norway’s west coast between the Seven Mountains, the city is a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture. The city offers a wide variety of nature and cultural experiences year-round, as long as you don’t mind a little rain.

Bergen has something for everyone – whether you want to see the fjords, hike the mountains, experience live music, or explore the historic sights downtown. You can also enjoy the view from Bergen’s mountains by taking the funicular up Fløyen, or the cable car up Ulriken, Bergen’s tallest mountain.
