Hilde Orten works as a metadata specialist at Sikt, focusing on cross-domain interoperability. She is involved in the work of the DDI Alliance and is the current chair of the DDI-Alliance Scientific Board. With background from the European Social Survey, she is engaged in several EU funded projects focusing on integrating environmental data with data from social surveys and other projects involving cross-domain interoperability, for example SoGreen and CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC. Hilde is also member of the EOSC-A Semantic Interoperability sub group.
