Javier Teran

Javier Teran is the Data Partnerships Lead and a Statistician at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). He oversees the maintenance of the Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX), OCHA’s open platform for sharing data on humanitarian crises, ensuring the consistent application of organizational and international standards across the platform. He brings more than 20 years of professional experience in statistics and analysis, gained through roles across multiple United Nations organizations.
