Summary

"FOSSR Days" are a series of three events organised by the Italian Research Infrastructure FOSSR scheduled to take place on October 16, 17, and 18. CESSDA is endorsing the Italian initiative for the strengthening of the social sciences research infrastructure field and commitment to creating an Open Cloud for Social Sciences.

Description

From October 16 to 18 three days of events dedicated to policy-makers, researchers and stakeholders and focused on the status of activities and the opportunities offered by the first Italian Open Cloud on social sciences will take place in Rome.

The FOSSR DAYS will open with the project's first Policy-makers session, followed by the General Conference and the first Online Seminar, as part of the dissemination actions to support the creation of a research environment that supports open, shared and simplified data access.

The FOSSR infrastructure, a project financed with NRRP-NextGenerationEU funds, and coordinated by the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth of the CNR (CNR-IRCrES} promotes the open sharing of data and methodologies to foster and increase the development of research in the field of Social Sciences in Italy.
