CESSDA Technical Infrastructure Training Day
The CESSDA Technical Infrastructure Training Day will be held on 5th December 2019.
Based on feedback from last year's event, it will cover:
- deploying an application on the CESSDA Technical Infrastructure (from commit, via build and test in development and staging to deployment in the production environment)
- using the CESSDA public APIs;
- distributed logging;
- service to service communication.
The event is intended for CESSDA Service Provider staff working on the implementation of CESSDA Tools and Services and of their own back office systems. Third parties (such as developers from other ERICs that CESSDA has links with) may apply and will be added to the waiting list, in case there are any spare places.
Ideally participants will have attended the EDDI18 training day, but as a minimum requirement they are expected to be familiar with Git and the Linux command line. Some software development pre-work in a language of each delegate’s own choosing will be required, specifications to follow after registration closes. The number of participants is restricted to 30 persons (maximum 2 per SP).
CESSDA delegates from North Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Belgium and Portugal will have their travel costs covered, subject to CESSDA’s general travel reimbursement procedure.
Fill in the registration form.
The closing date is 7 November at 17:00 CET.
Delegates will be contacted shortly afterwards to confirm availability.
