Summary

The eRImote Project partners are organising a workshop in London, gathering research infrastructure representatives and relevant stakeholders such as European Commission and ERIC Forum. We are inviting you to join us and help inform future thinking on remote access to research infrastructure services.

eRImote Workshop on Governance, Policy, Funding, and Impact

Description

The eRImote Project invites you to join colleagues from across a wide range of research services to help inform future thinking on remote access to research infrastructure services.

Our 1-day workshop, on April 26th in London, will focus on the governance, policy, funding and impact implications of increased remote/digital access to research infrastructure services. With speakers and attendees from a wide range of domains and perspectives, the day will feature short provocative and stimulating presentations, followed by a series of breakout/discussion groups to surface and share insights into these underpinning issues.

Get involved if you want to help provide answers to questions such as:

• How might governance be enhanced to better support remote access and the digital and green transition?

• What are major roadblocks in implementation of remote/digital access policies, and how should we overcome them?

• How do funding models and structures need to adapt to enable successful remote access?

Suggested attendees, colleagues involved in: strategic planning; service development; governance and policy management; funding and service commissioning.

Space is limited – so register here to secure your involvement
