IASSIST and the ACMLA would like to invite you to join us for the 49th Annual IASSIST conference and 57th annual Carto conference being jointly held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from May 28-31, 2024 to talk about the future of data in libraries, archives, and data services. The conference will be held in-person, centering networking opportunities and interaction.

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, May 28-31, 2024

In person at the Halifax Convention Centre.

Host institution: IASSIST with representation from Dalhousie University, Mount Saint Vincent University, and Cape Breton University. Held with CARTO , Association of Canadian Map Libraries and Archives.

Land acknowledgment

Halifax, also called Kjipuktuk (ji-buk-tuk), is in the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. It is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship, first signed in 1726, which established rules for an ongoing relationship between nations. The people of the Mi’kmaw Nation have lived on this territory for millennia, and we acknowledge them as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land.

Call for Submissions and Workshops

Submit your workshop, session, paper or poster proposal. Join us and submit by the deadline November 22, 2023 December 1, 2023. It will be the Best. IASSIST. Ever.
