It´s our great pleasure to inform you that the call “EURIZON FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME: Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers” is now open. It provides temporary fellowships of 6 or 12 months, consisting of individual research grants to teams of vulnerable researchers, working remotely from Ukraine, on research projects conducted in collaboration with partners from European RIs.

Who can apply

The programme is addressing teams of vulnerable researchers and other relevant staff from Ukrainian research institutes (PhD students, engineers, technicians, etc.) from all scientific domains.

These temporary grants, funded by the European Union (through the EURIZON H2020 project, grant agreement 871072) are intended to enable Ukrainian research teams to continue their scientific work, remotely, by carrying on research projects in collaboration with partners from European research institutes. The proposed research projects can have a duration of 6 or 12 months. Research teams can be composed of 2 to 5 (and more) members.

The projects can be carried out, remotely, from any place in Ukraine. The EURIZON fellowship programme will provide support in the form of research grants only to Ukrainian applicants (not to their European partners).

Applications must be submitted by the Principal Investigators (PIs) on behalf of their research teams from Ukraine through the online application form of the portal: https://indico.desy.de/event/38700/.
