New Brief highlights CESSDA’s Commitment to the TRUST Principles
Tue 9 Jun 2026

A new 3-page brief outlines how CESSDA integrates the TRUST principles (Transparency, Responsibility, User focus, Sustainability, and Technology) into its operational and governance frameworks to support ethical, secure, and sustainable research data management across Europe.

Read the brief here.

The brief highlights key practices where CESSDA operationalised these principles through established policies, shared standards, and coordinated infrastructure services.

“Trust in research data infrastructures is not built by a single standard or tool, but through a shared commitment to transparency, responsibility, and long-term collaboration across the landscape. The TRUST principles help us strengthen and sustain this trust across an evolving research data ecosystem,” said Mari Kleemola, Chair of the CESSDA Trust and Landscape Working Group and Development Manager at the Finnish Social Science Data Archive (FSD).
