This summer, CESSDA celebrated its 50th anniversary with a 4-day conference held in Bergen, Norway. Over 200 community members and invited speakers from all around the world actively took part in discussions on a broad range of topics – from the European Research Area to the application of AI in social science research.

Days 1 and 2 focused on strengthening the development of CESSDA services and collaborations. Days 3 and 4 featured panel discussions with perspectives from the European Commission, OECD, ministries, social science researchers, and international research data archives.
