ECRIN – CESSDA strategies for cross metadata mappings in selected areas between life sciences and social sciences and humanities
We are happy to share the research paper from the BY-COVID project which showcases the importance of cross-domain collaboration. The focus is on metadata schemas and vocabularies used for discovering scientific studies and resources in the social sciences and in clinical research which are similar enough to allow information from different source disciplines to be easily retrieved and presented together.

Unlocking Collaborative Horizons: CESSDA at EOSC Symposium 2023
This year's EOSC Symposium provided a dynamic platform for discussions and enlightening presentations, bringing together influential figures from the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) community. Representatives from CESSDA ERIC, the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives, played a role in various sessions, offering insights into the organisation's contributions and collaborative efforts within the EOSC framework whether through EOSC-related projects, Task Forces or its governance.

Seven exciting new EC funded projects for CESSDA coming in 2024!
As a result of its past engagement and successful cross-disciplinary collaborations, CESSDA was solicited to participate in multiple EC project proposals. By the close of 2022, CESSDA had become involved in seven successful project proposals, all of which were submitted by early 2023. These successful projects are now starting, with their kick-offs scheduled for early 2024!
